National Certification

Unit members who have successfully completed and attained a Board-Approved national certification in their discipline shall receive a one-time lump sum payment of $1,000.  The unit member shall also receive a stipend of $2,000 per year for each year the certification remains in good standing.

To receive payment for your achievement, print out and complete a National Certification Form and forward to the school system's Human Resources Department.  Be sure to keep a copy in case there is a need to follow up on the payment status.
